The program provides students with a combination of specialised supply chain training and core knowledge of SCM at a professional practioner level and will help the students to inculcate mangement skills to handle the global SCM issues.
The program covers the basic concepts to advanced concepts covering various areas of SCM network design, production management, inventory management, channel management and managing global SCM Risks with advanced IT softwares and techniques.
Students taking this program would become skilled SCM analysts, logistic consultants and inventory mangers, will be capable of construcitng a deterministic transportation models and inventory management strategies to caters the need of international buyers and customers.To make learning practical, hands-on and industry oriented, the program involves one capstone project at the end of each semester and one major internship program at industry-level after the last semester of the program to have industry exposure. All program taught in the program carry mandatory study hours.
Admission Requirements:
- All applicants must be at least 19 years old
- Have Grade 12/GEC or equivalent
- English Proficiency Requirements:
- Successfully complete the College English Language Proficiency Assessment Test and admissions interview OR
- IELTS – minimum of 5.5 bands
- CLB level 6

Upon completion of this program the successful student will have reliably demonstrated the ability to:
- Develop a sound understanding of important role of global SCM in today’s business environment.
- Develop and utilize critical management skills such as negotiation, supplier selection, IPR in SCM and use of IT in SCM to solve real world industry problems.
- Create procurement and outsourcing model for a company for international trade transactions.
Manage and examine the transportation intermediaries for a company to make useful demand predictions.
- Handle reverse logistics and outsourcing the return process of commodities both within the premise and distribution channels.
- Understand the SCM Security and Risk factors affecting operations of channel partners across the Canada through C-TPAT, WCOSAFE, SCREEN and Supplier Compliance Manager (SCM).
- Analyze push and pull based systems and to create demand driven strategies for a company to improve the overall turnover of that company.
- Build strategic alliances between buyer supplier relations and deploy distribution integration between both.
- Have sound understanding of ERP, DSS and SOA and implement in a company to integrate SCM activities with a unified system.
- Through the final term project, get industry exposure and would understand how global SCM projects are built and deployed with the help of SCM activities.
Method(s) of Evaluation*:
The student would be evaluated on the basis of Assignments, Quizzes, Class Presentation , Mid term and Final term exams.
Completion Requirements*:
The student must secure at least 60% marks in all the evaluations to pass the program.
